CenteringPregnancy is prenatal care that combines a typical check-up with more time and attention in a group setting. CenteringPregnancy is a way for you to share, learn, and grow with other pregnant women, and it is a way to be an active partner in your own care.
How it works
Patients meet with their providers and other women who are due near the same time for 10 sessions during their pregnancy.
Each mom receives a CenteringPregnancy notebook with tons of information and pages to help them track their health, pregnancy progress, and the growth of their baby.
The group is relaxed and fun with games, snacks, and gifts. Everyone can share their questions, advice, and experiences.
Each group visit lasts 1.5 hours with their provider leading the sessions.
There is no waiting room time. Appointments are scheduled in advance to make planning easier.
