Casey joined Heartland in 2025 with more than 22 years of experience in healthcare and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She believes in meeting people where they are and values being both a resource and an advocate for her patients. She looks forward to serving individuals and families facing social and health disparities within the community.

In addition to her clinical role, she enjoys supporting clinicians as they transition into practice and teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Outside of work, she enjoys home projects, spending time outdoors, and staying active. She is a proud mom of two children, loves her pets, and is passionate about animal welfare and mental health advocacy.
