Melody Shake joined the Heartland Health Services team in 2016 as the Director of Quality and Compliance. She has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, beginning her career in Canton, IL as a medical records clerk then moved on to the registration department. She then pursued a degree in radiologic technology and became a Vascular Interventional Technologist. Melody's passion for healthcare lead to a master’s degree in health administration. She later became the Director of Quality Management of an acute care hospital. Melody completed her certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ) designation in 2015 and now serves as Heartland’s Vice President of Quality and Compliance.
When she isn’t working, Melody spends time with her husband, two sons, and their spunky Bernese Mountain dog, Millie. She enjoys reading and is an avid baseball fan.
